Whist with a customer last week I was asked whether their FLT can be used as a Tow Truck as it is fitted with a towing hook on the rear. A tow hook where fitted is often there for vehicle recovery purposes – you MUST always check with the manufacturer to check limitations; they look like sturdy little beasts but they are not part of the cast of Bob the Builder and cannot operate beyond the purpose for which they have been designed.
