Environmental legislation requires employers to ensure that their business operations do not have a significant negative impact on any aspect of the environment – these receptors can include employees, public, surrounding land, water & air, flora & fauna.
An environmental audit examines those elements of a business that can have an impact upon on the environment and considers whether those impacts are appropriately controlled.
An environmental audit will look at company’s paper systems as well as comprising a physical check of the actual location and surrounding receptors.
Depending on the size of your business an Innovative Safety Solutions Auditor will spend time looking at your current systems, processes and procedures. Environmental Risk Analysis will also be carried out to produce a comprehensive management report.
